Through it all You were there,
Although I could not see;
Your loving hand guiding,
Holding on to me.
When the shadows thickened,
And fear filled my heart;
When confusion and angered raged,
You never did depart.
You held me in Your strong embrace,
Through those long dark hours;
You brought me safely through the fire,
By Your mighty power.
