The world looks for happiness
In possessions, wealth and fame;
Family, love, success,
And the prestige of a name.
Education, talents and friends,
Add to this illusion;
But the mere mention of God,
Is viewed as an intrusion!
The Giver of Life
Is ignored at all cost;
For they know what is best,
They are their own boss!
But only with letting go
Of all that they hold dear,
Will what they are looking for
Finally become clear.
