Thank you Father for Your arms of love,

That hold me close to Your heart;

And thank you for everlasting peace,

That never will depart.

Thank you for Your matchless grace,

That through my life does flood;

Thank you for the Mercy Seat,

That's covered with Your blood.

Thank you for Your guiding hands,

That lead me through this life;

Thank you for conviction,

That shows me wrong and right.

Thank you for Your compassion,

That binds my aching heart;

Thank you for the Throne of Grace,

That bids me come apart.

Thank you for Your patience,

That always urges me on;

Thank you for Your mercy,

Which is new with every dawn.

Thank you for the loving care,

That sees me through each day;

Thank you for Your faithfulness,

That's with me all the way.

Thank you Lord for all You are,

And all You mean to me;

For wanting this bit of humanity

With You for eternity.
