Lost In A Fog

This was written after I woke up in the hospital with no memory of what had happened or how I had gotten there!

Reality is lost in a fog,

I'm drowning in fear and pain;

I wonder if the shadows are real,

Or if I'm going insane!

The panic I feel is awful,

I try to make it stop;

But the only sound I make,

Is a dry choking cough.

My equalibrium is hard to find,

Voices make no sense;

Faces fade in and out,

It leaves me anxious and tense.

Suddenly my vision clears,

And things fall into place;

I know everything is alright,

I've just seen my best friends face.
