I long for the day
When the mistakes that I've made,
Can finally stop haunting me
And into the past fade.
When peace replaces fear,
And joy rules the heart;
When worry and stupidity
No longer have a part.
Doubt and distrust,
Regret, tears and pain,
Will finally be replaced,
And the answers all made plain.
God, help me hold on,
Give me the strength I need;
It's for Your grace and mercy
That I earnestly plead.
