The Little Bird

The little bird does flutter,
From the fence to the garden wall;
He's concerned not for the billowing clouds,
Or the rain that begins to fall.
He's only content on gathering,
The food he needs right then;
The storm does not frighten or startle,
For on God he totally depends.
Let me be like that little bird,
Content in my Father's care;
Trusting my needs He will supply,
And my burden He'll lovingly share.
